28 May 2010 - 30 November 2010In 1827 the famous bird illustrator John James Audubon visited Temple Newsam House and persuaded Lady Hertford to buy a copy of "Birds of America". This exhibition explores what happened next and looks at other uses of birds in Art.

The Tours are led by volunteers and members of the Leeds & District Association of the National Trust. They will last about 45 minutes, and are every Wednesday afternoon at 2pm. Please meet in the Hall. There is no extra charge. July.
