There are a range of seperately accredited short options available with LSC funding:- Airline Welcome L2 - a short 15glh programme Airline Interview Techniques L2 - a short 15glh programme Airline Grooming, Appearance & Lifestyle L2 - a short 15glh programme Airline Food Hygiene, Health & Safety L2 - a short 15glh programme Aviation Security L2 - a short 15glh programme Health & Safety in an Aviation Context L1 - a short 10glh programme Health & Safety in an Aviation Context L2 - a short 60glh programme Practical Food Safety in Catering in an Aviation Context L2 - a short 60glh programme Developing Environmental Awareness in an Aviation Context L2 - a short 60glh programme Airline Welcome - a short 15glh programme This programme is separately accredited by Ascentis and is a specific Airline Customer Care programme - this covers the key airline skills required and involves a simple set of exercises which can be incorporated within Ascentis and other awarding body Airline & Airport programmes; don't be fooled by the notion that other branches of "Travel and Tourism" have the same standards, they don't, and specific tuition AND role play scenarios are essential to cover this important subject and increase the students awareness to the different scenarios and techniques used within the airline industry. Airline Interview Techniques Level 2 This programme is separately accredited by Ascentisand is a specific Airline Interview Techniques programme - this covers the key airline interview skills required and involves a simple set of exercises which can be incorporated within Ascentis and other awarding body Airline & Airport programmes; airline interviews have specific standards and they need specific tuition AND role play scenarios to fully cover this important subject and increase the students awareness to the different scenarios and techniques used within the airline industry. J.A.R.E. ATP keep abreast of new airline interview techniques by regularly attending airline interviews as guests of major UK airlines; this is crucial to ensure that techniques are as up-to-date and as relevant as possible. In 2010-11 we continue to be able to offer the FOUR specially Airline & Airport Contextualised programmes with secure LSC 96/97 funding and all QCA approved - all can be completed in weeks rather than months.
