Principles of Aviation 1st Aid

For 2010-11 we continue to offer these unique programmes at both Level 1 and Level 2 with a different syllabus with a bespoke package, Level 2 is QCA approved and has secure LSC funding for 96/97 students LSC Code: 10043330  and the Level 1 will remain as at present outside the NQF/QCF [Qualifications & Credit Framework] but fully fundable (all colleges received funding in 2009-10) as Enrichment Entitlement for 96 students and Code 98 Other for 97 students, LSC Code: 00237677 in 2010-11.

Also in 2010-11 we will continue to offer support for a wide range of other Awarding Body Air Cabin Crew programmes to cover  Aviation First Aid which proved very successful for colleges and schools in 2007-08 including support for NCFE, OCR, C&G, EAL, Ascentis  and EDEXCEL programmes. 

The Ascentis Level 1 & 2 qualifications are unique in offering a real insight into this key discipline within the Air Cabin Crew role in an aviation context.
