CHURCH LEADERSHIP
Gorgie Mission has three trustees who oversee the maintenance of the building and guide the decision making process, although most decisions are made democratically at the congregational business meetings twice a year.

Finances are dealt with by the treasurer, and we trust the Lord to provide the necessary money through the giving of His people.

Rev. Gordon Forbes has led the work at the mission for a number of years in the past. He has now retired, but attends the mission along with his wife, and continues to hold a trustee's position

He can be contacted at

Mrs. Jessie Robertson has a long association with the mission along with her husband until he passed away. As well as serving as a trustee, she organises the Coffee Morning and the Ladies' Meeting

Miss Catherine Johnston also has a long association with the mission, and her father Robert Johnston led the work for some 40 years. As well as serving as a trustee, Catherine plays the organ at the Sunday services, helping the meetings to go with a swing!

Mrs. Kay Murray is a more recent attender, having moved to the Edinburgh area where her husband works with SASRA witnessing to the soldiers and airmen in the area. Kay has taken over responsibility for the finances as our treasurer.

There are many other valuable members of the congregation, and there is always room for more if you would like to join with us.
