THE FAMILY SERVICE
|
The Sunday morning service is a relatively informal occasion, beginning with coffee / tea at around 10:30am after which we spend some time singing and praying. There is usually a short story and special song for the younger people before they leave and go to "Sunday school" while the adults read a passage from the Bible and are encouraged to consider how it applies to their lives in today's society. It normally finishes between 12:00 & 12:15pm.

SUNDAY EVENING
THE SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE is slightly more formal, and is the main meeting of the week as far as many of the congregation are concerned. This is made up of many of the same aspects of the morning service, with some singing of hymns, some more traditional, and some more modern. There are times of prayer and a message from the Bible. On the first Sunday of the month we share communion at the close of the service, and on the third Sunday between Oct. & June, we often have a visit from The Faith Mission Bible College students, when some of them take part in a public service for the first time. On the last Sunday of the month, we have a further fellowship time after the service over a cup of tea. With all this variety however, the emphasis and main part of the meeting is always given to the preaching of God's word which is our final authority in everything we do.

COFFEE MORNING
|
On Tuesday Mornings @ 10.00 the doors are open for people to pop in for a cup of coffee or tea while having the opportunity to chat with the others who come, some from other churches and backgrounds, usually between 20 - 30 people.

BIBLE STUDY
|
On Wednesday Evenings @7.30 pm we gather in the smaller "Green Room" at the front of the building, for some more "in depth" and yet hopefully easy to understand study of the Bible's message.
Recently we have looked at subjects such as the church family, and Christian community; the life of Joseph; the messages of the minor prophets; and some of the teachings of the cults so as to better understand them, and be able to understand why what we believe matters.
You would be welcome to join us any Wednesday.

LADIES' MEETING
|
On Thursday afternoons @ 2.00 pm the ladies meeting takes place, when all ladies are welcome from any or no church background. Tea and buns are enjoyed before a visiting speaker brings a suitable message from the Bible.

Centenary Rally
|
MONTHLY RALLY
On the third Saturday of each month, (October - March inclusive) we have a rally at 7pm when a visiting choir or singing group lead us in an evening of special singing with an epilogue, brought usually by one of the members of the visiting group.
The evening is brought to an end with a good supper for all in attendance.
You would be very welcome to these rallies; they would make an excellent opportunity for a first visit which we feel sure would not be your last.
