Stehen & Cynthia Walker live in Bunwell with their 2 children, Matthew (6) and Emily (4), where they work full-time with The Faith Mission - a Christian missionary organisation established over 100 years ago to spread the message of the Bible to rural Britain and Ireland.
The Faith Mission is not a church. It is a missionary society comprised of people from many different church and ethnic backgrounds who have, in one way or another, have come to believe the Bible and to experience the life-changing reality of its message. As Faith Mission workers our goal is to work alongside Christian people so that together we can tell young and old the relevant and powerful message: Jesus is real! He's alive! He can forgive us and take us to heaven forever! The God who rules the whole world can be your friend!
We also seek any opportunity to encourage and strengthen other believers. We are aware that living as a Christian is not some unrealistic kind of 'escapism' to lift us above troubles and trials! Instead, becoming a Christian and living by God's standards brings its own trials to accompany our everyday trials!! But we know the reality of God's presence and strengthening in the midst of these trials bringing blessings that can outweigh the difficulties a thousandfold! It is good to pray for each other and to be there for each other as Christians when things are difficult. To this end we are involved in various Bible study groups and community visiting as well as being available for preaching in Church services.
